Giftrap | 13 The best stand all-stars Every Home & Giving Fair, the most impressive exhibitor stands are recognised for their mighty e orts. Here, we showcase the winning stands from the latest fair in Melbourne across both the Melbourne Showgrounds (MSG) and the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). BEST LARGE STAND, MSG Collect Home This was Collect Home's first year exhibiting at the Home & Giving Fair and the brand's stand did not disappoint. The stand's concept was 'relaxed glamour' and it was created to make visitors feel as though they were stepping out of an urban environment and onto a field. "We wanted to have a big expanse to show little sub-collections, satellites of colour," said co-founder Penny van Shaik. "We're really conscious that how we display our products gives our clients ideas on how they can do visual merchandising in-store." BEST MEDIUM STAND, MSG Indigo Love This is Tara and Danny Solberg's second trade fair, as the couple only launched the wholesale side of their business this year, featuring pieces they have found from around the world. Indigo Love’s retail store is based in the NSW coastal town of Huskisson and according to Danny, the stand at this year's fair was designed just like their shop. "We wanted the stand to be dynamic and have some dimension," he said. "We wanted to create a cosy, homey look to the space." BEST SMALL STAND, MSG iKOU This is iKOU's second Best Stand win in the last two years. According to co-founder Naomi Whitfeld, one of the strengths of the stand was its strong brand presence at this fair. All staff wore the brand's signature white and green colour palette, which extended to the product packaging and concepts. Naomi advised other wholesalers: "Sometimes, I think exhibitors forget to share their story with customers. People love to get a feeling of the personality behind the brand, so don't be shy about letting people know what you do and why you love your products."
